Well this is what I have been up to on my lazy Sunday. Making a diaper cake for an upcoming baby shower, OH's sister is having her first baby. Now she is waiting till the birth to find out what, a boy or a girl. So I have to complain here and say it is so hard to find neutral baby stuff. Nothing matched themes or they were out of everything. So needless to say I kind of cheated and added all of the baby colors!
Now that I have ranted and raved about unisex outfits onto the photos. This cake used just over 100 diapers, all rolled and then I added in baby socks and towels as flowers. Plus I stashed some cute little surprises inside the cake. I kind of cheated and used some circular boxes in the middle to make a four layer cake!
If your interested in making you own head over to U tube and google Diaper cakes there are a ton of examples and a couple of great tutorials. Until next time!

Vote For Rosalyn-Sue's Family
This came from Rosalyn-Sue over at Lil Bluebird Blog, she is the most selfless and caring person I have ever met, please vote for her and her family and help a fellow blogger out!
The Following is from her,
To our Friends --
We were just named as one of the finalists in The Most Deserving Military Family contest, sponsored by WSB-TV and Montlick & Associates. We would appreciate it if you would consider going to following link and voting for our family -- http://www.wsbtv.com/sponsors/16685583/detail.html. Please forward it to your family and friends if they would be interested in voting, as well. Perhaps, you would consider posting this on your blog? We have a chance at winning a 4-day vacation to Disney World.
It would be a welcomed vacation for Marvin who just returned home from overseas. For those of you who know Marvin, you know he is a dedicated father and gives so much of his free time to helping with Operation Stars & Stripes, Inc. He eagerly supports his fellow brothers and sisters in the military by packing, shipping, and helping us haul box after box of items.
Most of all, we would love to see our son, Coe Polk, have some fun after all he has been through in the past 18-months of his life. Coe Polk is such a special little boy who lives life with such courage and joy. Since Marvin has returned home, he has been enthralled with the concept that he actually has two parents. He frequently comments with excitement -- "It's a good Mommy, AND it's a good Daddy!" We would be thrilled to give him a vacation together as a family. As much as I love sending care packages and attending graduate school, it would be a welcomed break for a few days!
If you would like to know more about what we are currently doing through Operation Stars & Stripes, Inc., you can visit the website at . We have been so blessed and continue to see so many miracles through this organization. Thank you to all of you who have been so generous to help us with this endeavor.
