Where's the Dog?

So I promised to share some pics of the dog and her stocking. Now OH's daughter was good about going to bed for Santa, my dog Lola, not so much, I couldn't find her anywhere Christmas eve, oh there she is sniffing out her sock. Little stinker dissapeared a couple of times after Santa visited at least she didn't pull it down.

Here is another pic of her ripping into her sock. I have never seen her so excited, in fact OH woke up little Blondie cause Lola couldn't wait any longer. I kid you not that is what he said when he woke her up.

Until later!

What have I been up too?

Eating and eating and eating some more candy or cookies, basically anything not good for you has been consumed by moi this weekend. Did I mention I haven't gotten out of the Pj's for more than a grocery shopping trip and a quick Crhistmas celebration. I know I just love Pj's if I could I would wear them all of the time. Along with my slipper socks and slippers. Which by the way my mother stocked me up on this year. Thanks Mom, I love the Mary JAne slipper socks, now I even look cute foragint through my house. Anyways back to my productive weekend, so I also surfed the net for well most of the weekend. I did clean and manage to do some laundry but other than that, basically eating. Oh well time well spent relaxing I guess, I just can't believe that the weekend is over. So sad, back to work tomorow for a day and than off on Tuesday to celebrate the new year.

So have you made any New Year's ressolutions yet? I have but not so much personal as proffesional. I'll share the details as I hopefully check them off my list. But I am gearing up for a heck of a year in good old 2008 for Vintage Recreations. Please join me on this fabulous journey! Until then!

I want this so bad

Well I recieved the lucky task at work to research cameras and to help pick out one for the marketing department. What did we end up getting well drum roll please. We got teh Canon XTI with a macro lens. It is a beauty and I want one for myself. The camera is so smooth and I am in love with it. I think I will stay at work much later than normal. We got to set up a mini photography studio with a light tent and everything.

Now I have been researching this stuff for awhile for Vintage Recreations and I am loving what this camera can do, especially the macro lens, so perfect with jewelry! So I might need to go to work on the weekends and start photographing some of my stuff. I repeat I love love this camera. In fact my boss keeps teasing me about never leaving work because of it, but she too is in love with this thing.

It is all I can do not to run to the store and add this baby on my credit card. I am thinking resbonsibly though, trying to pay off debt not aquire it. But it is so hard, I am ready to confiscate the one from work.

Do I not have the best job or what!

Hope you all are having a great week. Until then!

Look what I got!

Guess what I got for Christmas? My very own mixer! Yes I know I am so excited in fact I even tried it out with a batch of chocolate chip cookies. Very nice indeed. Oh told me it was my mixer in training her was worried if he got me a kitchen aid mixer that I would use it once and then use it to decorate the counter in the kitchen. Funny isn't he. Although he has a point I generally only cook in the fall to holiday months and then I in the spring but other than that. I really don't bake too much jsut occasionally and I am a more hands on girl, literrally. I used to mix my cookie dough with yes my hands, it just seems to blend so much easier plus I have this bad habit of throwing everything out of the bowl when I use a utensil. Now though I am a real chef and I have my own mixer. So I am off to search for some more recies to try it out with. Until then!

Merry Christmas

I hope everyone had a very lovely holiday these last few days. I did, we host my side of the family on Christmas eve and OH's side on Christmas Morning. Boy I am exhausted, it was so much fun, but I don't want the hoidays to end. Luckily I have one more Christmas to celebrate next weekend and I don't know about you guys but I can't wait to start the after Christmas sales.

Here is the best part, my dog Lola, she dissapeared late last night so we went around the house calling her and where is she. Sitting on the couch staring at her sock, it was so funny. I tried to get some pictures and I promise I will try and post them before the new year. I know I am so bad with photos.

Plus as New Years approaches I am thinking of some new resolutions. Not so much for myself as for the business. I try to work on one big thing each year. Last year it was getting ahead of Show deadlines and applying for larger shows. I did okay but as the New Year approaches I am faced with the same thing. More shows or less. Sometimes it can be a bit much with working full time and doing the shows so I try to keep them to a minimum right now of about one a month. How about you gals any New Years Resolutions this year. I know it is still Christmas and I am kind of jumping the gun but the quiet house is unusual so I am trying to take advantage of it.

Anyone want to share their Resolutions? Until then!

It's Almost Christmas

Oh my goodness it is almost that time of year. Normally I am so prepared but this year with holiday shows and being unsure of what to buy, well let's just say I am running out of time and starting to panick a little. Okay well alot! I am not done shopping have barely even started, I am having my father and Oh's family over and not sure what I will be serving, let alone gone grocery shopping for it.

I took last friday afternoon off to get ready for a show and decided I should do some shopping. Well there was an accident on the freeway by the mall, the mall was a zoo. So what does Renee do, she keeps driving. I went home and read a book and took a nap. That isn't going to help with my problems. But the book was really good. So are you all done with your shopping yet? I still have to bake some cookies and wrap presents and to tell you the truth it just doesn't feel the holiday season this year. I am really having trouoble getting into it. So I thought if you guys had any good stories we should share them now so we can giggle ourselves into the holiday season. Until then!

Women's Art Festival This Weekend

Well ladies and gents I have been madly creating things for this weekends show. There must be something about a deadline that actually gets my but in gear. I had plenty of stock but just today decided to take the afternoon off and come home and get ready I ended up working in my studio for about 4 hours and just finished pricing everything and packing it up.

Anyways Vintage Recreations will be at the 15th Annual Women's Art Festival at the YWCA in Minneapolis this weekend.
Check out the flyer below if you in town, this is my first year at the event but I have heard a ton of good things from other artist about the show. It's a great place to help support local women artists as well as finishing up your Christmas shopping.
Hope to see some of you there, if you do stop by let me know that you heard about this from the blog. I always love meeting you guys in person. Also the camera is already packed so I will hopefully share some pics this weekend with you guys! Until next time!

It has been way to Long!

Yes I am still alive, sorry I have been gone for so long, I have been getting ready for Christmas shows and I must say one down one more to go. The first one done is Landmark Center Holiday Bazaar. Now for those of you who don't know of this great building in St. Paul, MN, well here let me start by showing a picture and givng you a little history on it.

Well this used to be the old court house and rumor has it, well it's haunted. That's just what I hear folks, they used to have the jail cells down in the basement and they would hang people from the second floor, maybe the third, I can't remember exactly. Ironic because I used to worked at a law firm in St. Paul so I would go over to the Landmark Center for lunch. Then I had my Senior Thesis there for my BFA and for the show I was on the third floor in one of the old court rooms!

This building is just fantastic, here are some more inside shots from the old court room that I was in, on the third floor may I mention again.

I wish you all could have been there, the building is just amazing with all of the details, you can't tell but the big chandeleirs in the photo the class scounces are etched with this incredable gold floral design. Just amazing I tell you.

Well the show for me was a huge fun filled few days, I got to meet some really cool and amazing artists and I even had some returning customers. It was so fun to talk with them again. I just love my customers, they are truly the sweetest people and they all share a love of unique and vintage items. It is just so much fun for me to see what people pick out, all of my necklaces and bracelets are sized specifically for the customer and everytime I tell you it seems like the piece was made with them in mind. It truly is so much fun to see what someone picks out. I just love to see that my jewelry goes to a good home!

Anyways I should go I have chicken thawing in the microwave and I am trying to cook a nice warm dinner, it is absolutely freezing in Minnesota lately, like we aren't making it to the 20's anymore, well at least not until tommorow. So I leave you with a another shot of the wonderful festivities.

I know I so need a new camera, maybe Santa will come through this year! Until then.

The best pick me up!

Have you guys seen this commercial from Ford? I don't know why but this commercial makes me giggle every time especially the coffee scene. Perhaps I have a cruel sense of humor, but if I have had a bad day, this can make it all the sweeter.
Hope you enjoy!

Thriftmas

Has anyone heard of "Thriftmas" before? Well let me tell you my local thrift store is having a Thriftmas Boutique right now and man is there a ton of stuff. For example so much stuff it is indimidating. I talked to a lady who went yesterday when it opened and she said it was jsut crazy and that everything that is out on the shelfs now is new stock. So ladies if you guys have a local Arc Thrift store I highly reccomend racing on over there and start your Christmas shopping now. There are so many decorations and tins and baskets, and cards. Just a ton of Christmas stuff, I plan on hitting some of their other locations, but I am telling you leave a lot of time for yourself to browse. There is a ton of stuff.

As for me I need to start gettinig ready for my next show the Landmark Holiday Bazaar, it is coming up fast and as usual I am so not ready. I have to plan a new layout for a table not the usual tent layout that ˆam used to. In fact I am investigating some new display ideas. Which reminds me does anyone have a creative idea for a necklace display that isn't to expensive. I would love to hear some ideas! I am having quite the trouble with that one. I thought about using some mini trees but I'm worried the necklaces with get lost in them. So anyways that is what is pondering my mind these days besides work which has been full steam ahead.

So until next time I hope everyone is creating like mad!

So I am curious did anyone dress up this year? This is the first year that I didn't make a costume or carve any pumpkins the time jsut got right by me.

Anyways Happy Halloween all you bloggers out there!

Boutique Madness

Last week I participated in my first boutique, Carrie, the lady who runs it is super sweet and so full of information. I just love her and it is amazing what she can do with a rented space. It was certainly a new adventure as I was dropping off my jewelry I was feeling well a tad out of place and so unorganized compared to the other jewelers, but thanks to all of the super nice people I have learned some new tricks and I sold some stuff.

So now I am getting ready for the next boutique that Carrie is doing, the Holly Day Boutiques, so if any of you guys are new to this or have done it before she is having some other boutiques this spring so check out her website and let her know the I sent you there. Remember she is super nice and very informative. Otherwise if your in Minnesota go check out the boutique their are fabulous artists and the prices are great, just check out the website for the address it starts November 1st. I can't wait to do a little more shopping myself!

Hope every one is well out there and hopefully I can get my but in gear and start posting more, I've even fallen behind keeping up with all of my fabulous bloggers out there.

Oh and in other news I am participating in the Sweet Goodness Swaps, Sister Holiday Swaps and we just had our first swap and my lovely partner Sarah sent me the most adorable little bag she made filled with chocolatey goodness. Gotta love a girl that send you chocolate. As usual I am having some camera difficulties, I think i need a new battery pack, I don't think it is me after all.

Anyways back to doing some inventory for the boutique, have a great week you guys.

Happy Birthday to ME

Yes today is my birthday, and thanks for this awful cold that I came down with last week it has been a less than festive weekend. But I suppose I will make it, my OH got me the coolest cake decorating kit and a cupcake carrier. I have been eyeballing both of these for a long time and I was super excited to get them. Other than that it has been a very low key day, just hanging out and wearing the Tiara. So here is to me another year older and another year craftier!

Happy Birthday Sis

Today is my lovely sister Jewel's Birthday so Happy Birthday Sis. She is nine years and 1 day older than me and just about the best sister a girl could ever have. I'm must admit I was a stinker when we were younger and she told me once at 18 that she didn't like me much as a child. Understandable due to the fact that we are nine years about and well I was a stinker. i think I broke alot of her posses ions and snooped a ton through her room.

For instance, I call her Jewel, her name is Julie, not really a stretch but I came across this name as a child snooping through her drawers and this boy that apparently had a mad crush on my sister used to call her that. Well I started calling her that because it used to annoy her to bits. Eventually it stuck and now she doesn't mind it in the least, because well she is a jewel.

I'm not sure if she knows this but I always wanted to be like her, and I always looked up to her as a child. She had the huge 80's hair that always looked great and she could make the best chocolate chip cookies and brownies. She used to babysit me and she was so cool that she would let me dress up in her cool clothes and do my make-up. She as just the coolest older sister any girl could have. she taught me how to ride a horse, make fabulous deserts, and bought me my first walkman, rainbow bright walkman, by the way. She taught me so many valuable things and is so dear to me.

She is an incrediable mother and artist and she has always been behind me encouraging me and well making sure I had enough well balanced meals in college. She is a fabulous cook, so when I was in college and my parents lived out of state I used to go visit her, she would always come and pick me up and then send me home with enough dinners until the next time I saw her. She has always just been the sweetest thing to me and so today I would like to wish her a birthday full of bright candles and lots of pretty packages, and lots of cake with zero calories of course. Well it is her birthday, didn't you know that on your birthday cake has no calories!

She is just the coolest mother and sister, full of so much knowledge and love.
So Happy birthday sis and thank you for everythign you are the best sis in the world and thanks for helping mold me into the gal I am today. I love you lots and I just want you to know how special you really are to me!

So make a wish, a really good one and blow out those candles!

Announcing

Well I have finally finished some of my secret things that I have been hinting at for oh three months now so run on over to Vintage Recreations and check out the new Lost Treasure jewelry Kits.

I have combined vintage charms and created a kit to make a bracelet and a pair of earings out of these super nifty vintage charms. First we have a Fruit Salad Lost Treasure Kit, with forty charms.

next we have the Puppy Love Bracelet Kit.

Purple Flower Power Kit

Last we have the Passion for Sew Lost Treasure Jewelry Kit. So hurry on over some of these babies are one of a kind.
Until then!

Camera Error User? or Machine?

So I am so ready for the weekend and I just wanted to announce that I am totally an idiot. I have been carrying around my camera for the past week so I could snap some photos to share with you guys and get this, apparently the camera was on the entire time or at least long enough that everytime I went to snap a picture no juice. So being good I would recharge teh sucker, and still no life. Well I have finally figured it out, I was charging it while it was on, so it would charge and then use the battery up pretty darn fast cause it was on all of the time. So needles to say no photos this week.

I had my god son's birthday party and his mother and I have been friends since junior high so I was going to share some pics but no, thanks to the dead camera. I hope you all have a fabulous weekend and I am off to a antique festival at the state fairgrounds this weekend so keep your fingers that my camera is being better or at least for no user error on this. This one is huge not as big as the one in Texas but still bigger than normal around here.
Until then!

Yes the Weekend is Here

Oh I am so glad that the weekend is here. Getting ready for my show I was making jewelry in all of my spare moments and now I am exhausted. Trying to busy myself with things around the house that need to be done, and just trying to relax and unwind as much as I can.
Anyways I wanted to show you a couple new items and yes they are at Vintage Recreations.

Other than that, I feel like I showed keep pushing myself and making things for the next show but I am having a hard time locking myself in my studio. Which I should take some pictures of it was a complete disaster and then a day before the show I decided still not quite sure why at that moment I needed to clean my studio, so I cleaned, I still need to organize the shelves but I parted with some things I no longer need. Going to the beloved thrift store in town and I feel so much better. Plus I have been catching up on my reading, does anyone else read Kay Hooper? I just adore her books, in fact I have read four of them last week. I jsut can't put a good book down sometimes and then all of a sudden it would be the middle of the night and and I would be just to the end of the book, finally on Thursday I jsut decided to cheat and flipped to the back of the book to find out who the murder was. Just so I could go to bed, I know cheating but it was midnight and I had to work on friday. I hope you are all doing well and enjoying the weekend.

I'm Back

Hi guys, it has been a busy two weeks! We did celebrate my gram's 93rd Birthday however i got out voted on the tea party and since it was such a glorious Labor Day weekend in Minnesota we had a picnic.

Here is a pic of my grams and me. I look like such a giant next to her don't I. She is about 5'1" like most of the women in my family and I forget how tall I am until a picture is snapped. Although my niece is already passing my sister so I think she will be up to my height in no time.

Here is a pic of my little brother and his girlfriend and my brother in-law trying to avoid being in any pictures. It can be so annoying everyone always turns away and runs when I take out the camera. Especially now with the blog, although if you shoot enough pics you can get a tongue stuck out at you too. Love my little brother he is such a sweetie and he just bought his first house at 25, so I am so proud of him. Plus he even asked if I would help with the creative decorating as he put it. His girlfriend melissa is a real sweetheart also, she blends right in to the family so easily and is always so helpful. After dating my brother and barely knowing me she hung out with me for two days straight last summer trying to help me at another art fair and it was plain miserable and hot.

Other than that I just finished up with a fall show, The Edina Fall into the Arts festival. This is my second year doing the show and I just love it, great people, great organizers, and fabulous artists. i also found out that some of my jewelry pics were used in the add for the Star Tribune. That is so cool, I have never been published before and in all honesty I usually take horrible pictures. I never have the patients to set stuff up correctly or anything. Which I find amusing since I did attend a fine arts college and loved my photography classes.

Anyways I am still trying to get my hands on the add it ran a couple of weeks ago and I had absolutely no idea about ituntil a customer mentioned that my rings looked just like the add in the paper. Still clueless until Karen, who runs the event stopped by and asked how I felt about it. I was just flabergasted, and truly excited.

So now I have one more show for sure, a Christmas show, waiting to hear back from another and checking out boutique events. Has anyone every participated in these before. if so will you please email me and tell me about your experiance. It sounds like they just pop up for about a week, make the place look like a store, and I just drop stuff off kind of like consignment. It talked to this wonderful women about one that she runs yesterday and she was so helpful with advice and suggestions, so I will let you know how that goes. Hope everyone is easing back into the school year nicely. i can actually say I miss college and I think I need to sign up for a class somewhere. I just love to learn new things, don't you?

Cupcakes I Adore

Does anyone have this book? I saw it the other day at Michael's and I so want it, but it was 24 bucks there and being the thrifty diva I am I had to internet search it first. I just added it to my wish list at Amazon only 12 dollars hmm much nicer. I have been thinking that I need to take a class and learn how to decorate cakes and cupcakes. I have always wanted to do it, and now that golf is over maybe I should try something on the sweeter side. I'll have to keep you posted, at this moment the only kind of cupcakes I know how to make are from cake mixes out of the box and I am feeling the need to break off, in another direction.

In other news I am starting to freak out a little. It's is my grandmother's 93rd birthday next weekend, and I haven't a clue what to do. She is the type that is always saying I don't need anything, and I was thinking of trying to do a tea party them for her and a couple of her friends. Does anyone know of any nice places for a tea party that won't break my piggy bank.

I know of one in Anoka but grams and her friends live in Minneapolis and since I have a two door car that could be very difficult in the chaufer aspect. Hmmm I'll let you know how it goes, that women is the busiest most lovely lady in the world and if I have to drag her out of her house to celebrate her birthday in style well I have no problems doing it. She is just absolutely the best grandma and one of my dearest closets friends! So she is stuck with me!

Extreme Home Makeover in Minnesota

Does anybody else watch this show, I just love it granted I am bawling through the whole thing. Well guess what today was demo day for a family that greatly deserves this wish, in Minnetonka, MN, not far from where I work and live. I am super excited for this family, the story is just horrific especially for the children. Their mother and her boyfriend were shot to death in a jealous rage and the tragic thing is that this women did everything to protect herself that she could, from restraining orders to contacting the authorities. You can read about the family more here.

Those poor children witnessed their mother's murder and I just get so upset recalling the details of this horrible event, no child or women should ever have to deal with this. The upsetting part he had already tried and threten to kill her before.
You can read about the family more here.

Now after that very depressing post; it is raining still but the great Sate Fair started today which means that summer is coming to a close, which I guess is okay I am ready for Fall. I just love all of the colors and smells, and the apples. So everyone have a fabulous weekend, hugged your love ones and remeber to enjoy every minute with them. Until next time!

Rain Rain Go AWAY

Remember this old rhyme, " Rain, Rain Go away come back another day," well that is exactly how I am feeling. Granted some places need the rain and it does make for some nice sleeping weather, but this cloudiness is making me want to take a nap every couple of hours, which personally I am pretty sure my work wouldn't go for it if I curled up underneath my desk! I think the people in Southern Minnesota are really feeling that way. It is just so sad that they got flooded out and the damage is so hard to comprehend. This is sad but in my world I try to avoid these kind of stories. I know it is awful but I am trying to think more on the positive side lately and just seeing the damage is so upsetting I just can't begin to imagine how awful they must be feeling.

So alas I have shoved that thought aside, back to Renee's world. I read somewhere lately that women get so bogged down with all sorts of worries. That is me with a capital T, I can fret about things that aren't even going to be happening for three months. I have always been somewhat of a worry wart so I am trying to see the positives in everything and anything lately.
For example if traffic is nice or if it isn't well I got to spend some alone time chilling to the radio and some good music. Now I admit in everyone's busy lives I think we do worry more and get upset about the stupid little things so I am trying. If you would like try with me it is actually nice not stressing about things that i simply cannot control and that is another thing I need to keep reminding myself. I can't control everything like I think I should be able to, surprise huh! i hope you are all having a splendid week and I am or have been working on some great goodies to be adding to Vintage Recreations so stay tuned! You know I will so share this with all of you as they come about, until then I am madly preparing for my first show of the fall, Edina's Fall into the Arts Festival, so I am mad with creating lately. Until then!

As Promised

Well as promised I have a photo from my golfing adventure last week, and no the above photo is not of me. Since OH took the photo as I kept finding tees in my pocket , it is at the very least not the most glamorous, although I personally think it is better than the picture he took of my rear as I was getting ready to tee off can wee say snug. Just what I need on the web right? Leave it to him these are the only two pics I have of my first time golfing, we went with Oh's sister and husband, who by the way are a blast to golf with. Very encouraging to the newbie and Oh's sister taught me the golden rules of a gimme. So in the end I scored 48 out of a possible 29, not to bad for the first time. Plus I had fun so hopefully later I will have better pictures. I can't even show you a picture of OH's sister because once again it is a rear picture and I am not sure if she would appreciate me showing that on the web. I don't think it occur ed to Oh to walk around us to get the photo so anyway alas here are two out of the four that made it onto the blog. Now remember ladies this is so not my best picture, it is one of those snapshots while I am talking away!

Well other than that i didn't get to go thrifting this weekend, having some car problems. Which personally i just wish cars would behave and be good well, forever. So hopefully by next weekend I will be back out and hunting around for some new treasures. Until then!
Ps if you look in the corner of the photo you can see my super cool blue, yes blue golf clubs that OH got me for last Christmas, and since blue i my favorite color it should be no problem for me to coordinate with my clubs and outfits! Now if I can just find a place for my purse I am set!

Treasures Galore

Oh I have been finding some real treasures lately, just check them out.

I am not even sure what to call this, I had already paid for my items at the thrift store and as I was leaving I saw it and gues what it was two dollars so I got right back in line. I just love it, I think I am going to try and fix it up slightly but I just don't want to loose it's vintage feel.. Plus just look at the detail on it.

Isn't it just gorgous and a steal! Next i found this today at lunch I generally am pretty cheap at the thrift store and this item had just come in but I just had to have it, have I mentioned I collect jewelry boxes, vintage ones to hold my vintage jewelry collection. Some of my older ones i wasn't to picky and they have a ton of character, but I just love them all the same.

It is so sparkly, just check out the gem on top, so it is now sitting on my dressor looking lovely and waiting for the perfect accessories to fill it's box.

Well that is all for now, hope you are all enjoying yourselves and relaxing. I am actually off to golf tomorow, yes at a real course. Haven't tried that one out yet, I finished my lessons and still feel kind of helpless and of course everyone that is going has been golfing for ages, I think I just might ask them to turn around so I can swing, I just hate it when people are watching me, makes me nervous. Any hoo I'll tell you how it turns out, wish me luck, it's nine holes!

Friday the Thirteenth!

Well I have never been superstitious about Friday the 13 before but after the morning I had I am starting to wonder. I think it is less than three weeks that I have been in my new position and I have already had to fill out an accident report. Nothing serious mind you more disgusting than anything.

So today wearing my comfy open toe sandals I had to move some stuff around in storage so I could ship out some stuff to an upcoming trade show. Well not fully paying attention I moved some plastic stairs that apparently had wheels on the bottom. Never noticed this until it was to late mind you. So I stacked the stairs over against the wall on their side and it rolled right out and managed to catch my big toe nail and ripped the sucker right off almost half gone. At first I thought I had just been bumped and then well let's just say this is when I noticed that my red toe nail polish seems to be all over my toe. Talk about gross, so I had to walk up a flight of stairs and half way across work or it seemed that endless today to reach a bathroom for some tissues. Seriously my big toe nail come on I just painted them!

I did try and take a photo for you guys but in all honesty it is pretty nasty. So I thought I would keep it to myself. So Renee's new goal try not to walk into things and watch all of my body parts at once. I am a natural born klutz but these are my toes we are talking about I want to be able to still wear sandals without scaring small children you know.

In other news the sweetest women is holding a cupcake swap, I would have her button on here but my mac is being evil with Blogger and won't upload it. Anyways go check her out The Little Bluebird Diaries. She is just amazing personally and she has alot on her plate right now so stop on over and wish her some good vibes and kind words. Until later I am off to try and do some cosmetic surgery on my big toe, it is summer you know and I am so not giving up my sandals yet! Yes I am vain, never new I was this vain especially about a toe, but come on who wants screaming children huh!

New Jewelry Added

Hey guys just a quick note added some new jewelry over at Vintage Recreations, so stop on by. I also added what I call Bits & pieces Junk Bag, they are bags of dismembered vintage jewelry for crafting or creating jewelry, pretty good price, and it totally helps me out, I need to get rid of some of my stash I can barely move in my studio.

So sad to say I am getting rid of some stuff and trying to slow down with the buying part which is so hard. Vintage pieces are so unique and so fun to find. Anyways off to do some work around the house, still trying to get used to the new job, love it but learning so much right now I am so exhausted. I don't know how all of you moms keep up with your work and businesses and your kids. I am feeling run down and I don't even have any kids yet. You are all amazing! Until later!

Also as ussual I forgot to take photos of my matchboxes which I sent Wendy two cause I wasn't creative enough in jamming it full.

Also I owe miss Deena an apology she sent me some good mail, jeez I think it has been at least two weeks now and it is the cutest notebook that I snapped it up so fast and am currently using it at work, hence the no picture. Deena thank you though that was super cute and super sweet of you and the pen is great too.
