Well I have finally taken the plunge and upgraded my Mac to the Leopard operating system. Guess what, the girl who normally isn't a fan of change is totally loving it. It is absolutely way better than the last one I had. Plus I spruced the memory up a bit to 2.5G and boy can my Mac fly. I totally feel like speed racer it makes me click through things so fast that I can barely stand the computer at work anymore.
Plus thanks to my Mac I have learned to install a hard drive, memory, and I had to do something else inside the thing too. So I am feeling like such a smart girl and so proud that I didn't have to pay a ton to take it somewhere for something that I can do.
Now you may be wondering why I decided all of a sudden to upgrade. Well this is really a silly answer, and I was planning on biting the bullet and spending the money next year but not this year. Well I got a bright and blue Ipod Nano for my birthday and it wouldn't work on my computer. I know! I was so upset, so instead of returning it minus the 10% fee for already opening it, I just pushed it up a couple of months ealier and I am so glad I did. Everything just works so much better now. Blogger before did not run so smoothly with the old system, I couldn't attach labels or spell check or anything. Now I can do it all again. Plus it has this great feature of always spell checking your stuff so you get that little red line underneath stuff. Totally Fabulous because I swear my fingers get ahead of my brain alot when I am typing and then I spell everything wrong.
In other news we had our first snowfall yesterday, with crazy whipping winds and it was freezing. Luckily nothing stuck but it is still freezing. Hopefully it will warm up a little for all of the trick or treaters this friday!
Until then!

Featured on Etsy Daily Email
Yippy my store was featured in Etsy Daily Finds Email and selected by none other than Jennifer Perkins of Naughty Secretarys Club. It was already awhile ago, yes I know I am always behind isn't that the truth lately.
I have to say I have been looking up to Jennifer for awhile now, she is such a hoot and such a succesful small business owner that it was an honor to be in this particular Etsy Finds.
Anyways hope everyone is having a nice Fall and getting ready for that Spooky holiday that is coming up!
I couldn't figure out how to add the email so I snuck a snippet in below.
"I've often wondered how Jennifer Perkins does it: original Austin Craft Mafia member, Naughty Secretary Club founder, DIY's Craft Lab host, and now, jewelry book author — she's been making her awesomely over-the-top, charm-encrusted designs since before cupcakes were kitsch. Well wonder no more, (at least for the jewelry) she's ready to spill her secret sources for some of the coolest baubles around. (I'll give you a hint: Etsy.)
...Ooh, and if you missed Friday's how-to with Jennifer, get your free Hanky Panky bracelet project download here.(Sorry I couldn't find the link but it is in her new book)
You would think that as a jewelry designer there would be a lot of beads in my world. (Ya, you would think.) Actually, I can't remember the last time I included a bead in my jewelry. That being the case, I am on the constant lookout for the perfect kitschy cutie that can be transformed into a piece of jewelry. Sometimes that is a piece of dollhouse furniture, other times it is a cupcake topper. When I was writing my new book, The Naughty Secretary Club: The Working Girls Guide to Handmade Jewelry, I knew I had to have the perfect supplies for wearable office-themed awesomeness and Etsy was the perfect place for me to start my search. I picked a few favorites that are used in 10 of the 50 fun projects you can find inside the book. Remember, there is nothing that says a jewelry designer is restricted to just beads. I live by the mantra that if it will sit still long enough, I will eventually find a way to make it into a piece of jewelry."

MEAN JEAN
Imagine forgetting where you parked your car.
Imagine not recognizing your own children.
Imagine losing your most precious memories.
The effects of Alzheimer’s are devastating to the person who has the disease—and to everyone who loves that person and is trying to help them hold the pieces of their lives together.
Alzheimer’s disease affects approximately 5 million people in the U.S. The research being conducted to better understand and manage it is critical.
On Saturday, September 27, 2008, I will be walking in support of a wonderful woman who is close to my heart, Jean Kiernan, at the Alzheimer's Association Memory Walk. She was recently diagnosed with Alzheimer's.
Please join us or feel free to donate to the cause.
For more information or to donate click here,
Now onto Mean Jean
Mean Jean really isn't so mean, she is just the best lady in the world. She is far from mean, but it all gives us a giggle to call her that plus she loves the name(it's based off of a book). Jean is one of those people that if you have met her she has left you feeling like you are the most important person in the world. She just has this gift of making you feel at ease. Words cannot describe how fabulous she really is, she just has the most golden caring heart!
Mean Jean is OH's mom, and even though she isn't my mother in law, I still love her like one. She is always so supportive of any and all of my artistic crazy endeavors, as well as a feisty thrift shopper like the rest of us. She adores a good deal! She is simply Jean who looks out for everyone! Well now it is my time to look out for Jean, to thank her for all of her fabulous qualities that make her unique.
Just imagine a world without Alzheimer's, doesn't that just sound so beautiful.
Also 20% of all sales from today through friday, from both of my etsy stores, Vintage Recreations & Vintage Nouveau Designs will be donated to the Memory Walk so if you have been thinking about purchasing anything now would be great time, you get something fabulous and you help a fabulous cause.

Twilight Oh My!
So I have been reading snippets about the book Twilight, by Stephanie Meyer now for oh about a year. Yes I am always so far behind everyone else, I like to make my own trails! I kept meaning to read it and then I saw I was number 550 on the waiting list for the library. That basically means that oh I won't be reading this until 2010. So I was surprised when I picked up my niece on Sunday morning for our Auntie and niece Flea Market run as she began telling me about this fabulous serries she was reading. She enjoyed it so much she was already on the fourth book and she had just started the serries last Sunday night. Yes my family loves to read, granted my niece is 12 and reading at a college level. Yep she is a smarty, plus she offered to even borrow me the books. Let's just put it this way we are all known to say pick up a book and not set it down until we are done, in fact Tal used to get into trouble while reading until the wee hours of the morning under her blankets with a flash light.
Anways I degress, so I started reading twilight late last night, I couldn't put it down, all of a sudden it is 2am and I know that monday is so going to be a crabby day for me! Needless to say I finished tonight. I just love the characters, Stephanie Meyer did such a fabulous job and this so means that I need to stop by my nieces tommorow and get the next book. I don't know if I can wait, let alone I am curious about the movie that is supposedly coming out, the characters just come alive in this book, I hope the movies lives up to it.

Happy Birthday Miller
Well today is a very special day, it's Miller's birthday! We have known each other since middle school and have been inseperable since. She truly is the worlds greatest friend, we have been through so much together and have always been there when the other has needed anything. So since it is Miller's birthday and our ten year reunion, plus I was banned from using any photos over 24 without her signature on them first, I thought I would share some photos of Miller and I in high school. The first photo is for our Senior Year Homecoming. God I used to love my cheerleading uniform and pom poms!
Miller and I were always known for our lovely photo birthday collages. In fact, each year we would go bigger and better. We had our most glamorous photos and some that neither of us ever wanted to share. For instance, my birthday is 2 weeks after Miller, well one year she apparently didn't like my choice of photos that I hung on our locker. So to get me back she went to Kinko's made about 1000 copies and lets say three out of the five photos were the least flattering ever, and proceeded to post them around the high school every where. Well you remember High school I was mortified and ready to kill her as I went from class to class ripping them down. Looking back now it is absolutley hilarous, especially her locker sign. Now I remember why she was upset, plus She just had to out do me.
These photos are from our Junior year, prom, Edgefest, and our trip to the DECA Conference. We won county for 2nd place if I remember correctly.
Last but not least we have one in our early 20's at Anoka's Halloween Parade with our adorable matching flower hats.
Anyways to get back on point, Happy Birthday to the most wonderful Gal I know. Here is to another year prettier, smarter, and another year of breaking hearts, using fake names, and creating total Chaos when we finally get out, well maybe not so much chaos anymore, but darn it we still have a good time! Happy Birthday and remember Miller your only 25!~ :) P.S. for those of you who don't know me I am the blonde tall one, not the gorgous short one, that would be Miller!

It Rained it Poured
Well I just finished up with the Edina Fall into the Arts Show last weekend. I must say it rained and poured and drizzled but man people, well true Minnesotans still came. Plus I have to share this, this is my third year and I made it into the park. Which for those of you that don't know is a big status thing among the artists. So whoo hoo! Plus the festival is set up among the prettiest park in Edina, Centenial Lakes.
Other than that, I also managed to injure myself, granted I was good and didn't get any blood on anything important. I guess you could say I am a procrastinator/ perfectionist! I decided a week before the show that I didn't like my displays it was time to change, and make a ton of new product that I had been playing with but with no shows all summer there was no rush right.
Well I was a good girl worked all day came home and got straight to business, until Wednesday, when I found out I was actually using OH's chisel as paint peeler, oops he wasn't so thrilled, I was asking him are you sure this is a chissel, as lo and behold chisseled right into my finger. Now this is not the worst of it, next OH decided if I wanted help then we better do it before the Twins game so I jump up all caffienated and peppy and run into my car antenae. Hmm you asking what does that matter? Well it's broke and instead of fixing it, I had OH pull it up so I could still listen to the radio, in doing this he left a very sharp edge. Now that sharp edge has been there for oh almost a year now, never jumped out and hurt me until stress time.
Yes I managed to remove the webbing between my ring finger and my pinky. I also learned that night that I do not handle wounds. Now I didn't need stiches but lets just say I could see things that in my opinion are not meant to be seen. So after not believein gOH that I didn't need stiches I called my father, ( Wise one of all things) to double check.
So my dad is telling me to describe it so I am staring out the gash and the hole, and all of a sudden I get a hot flash the room starts to spin. Hmm so not good at this point, but yes there is more! So I am able to get off the phone with dad and then make it to the bathroom before I heave anything left over from lunch.
You will all be glad to know after that I was fine, until friday when I caught my arm on it, this time OH bandaged it so I did not have to peak and yeah still no stiches and made it to the show with fabulous new displays, no blodd on them and my new table covers. Here are some pics in the rain, nothing special went more for a minimulistic look. Don't you just love the window earring displays and my chandeliar though. The windows were the cause of all of the holes I now have that are all conveniately on my left side. hey at least I am consistant right! Plus I figured you would rather see this than the wounds.
Until next time! Watch out for sharp metal objects!

Yes I am still Alive
Yes I am still alive, I think i have just gotten carried away with the lovely summer. It has been just so nice outside and well it was a nice get away, granted it was way to long. I have shows I am supposed to be getting ready for, not doing so well with that more of on a spending spree. I need some supplies don't I? Well let's just say I now have a ton, but you can never have to much inspiration right.
Anyways I jsut wanted to wish everyone a Happy Holiday Weekend, I am off to a huge antique and flea market this weekend. I can't wait to see all of the pretties. Plus I have this new phone and I can actually take photos now my friends.
Anyways just wanted to let you all know that yes I am here, I didn't forget you, just took a longer break than anticiptated.

Baby Shower And Diaper Cakes
Well this is what I have been up to on my lazy Sunday. Making a diaper cake for an upcoming baby shower, OH's sister is having her first baby. Now she is waiting till the birth to find out what, a boy or a girl. So I have to complain here and say it is so hard to find neutral baby stuff. Nothing matched themes or they were out of everything. So needless to say I kind of cheated and added all of the baby colors!
Now that I have ranted and raved about unisex outfits onto the photos. This cake used just over 100 diapers, all rolled and then I added in baby socks and towels as flowers. Plus I stashed some cute little surprises inside the cake. I kind of cheated and used some circular boxes in the middle to make a four layer cake!
If your interested in making you own head over to U tube and google Diaper cakes there are a ton of examples and a couple of great tutorials. Until next time!

Vote For Rosalyn-Sue's Family
This came from Rosalyn-Sue over at Lil Bluebird Blog, she is the most selfless and caring person I have ever met, please vote for her and her family and help a fellow blogger out!
The Following is from her,
To our Friends --
We were just named as one of the finalists in The Most Deserving Military Family contest, sponsored by WSB-TV and Montlick & Associates. We would appreciate it if you would consider going to following link and voting for our family -- http://www.wsbtv.com/sponsors/16685583/detail.html. Please forward it to your family and friends if they would be interested in voting, as well. Perhaps, you would consider posting this on your blog? We have a chance at winning a 4-day vacation to Disney World.
It would be a welcomed vacation for Marvin who just returned home from overseas. For those of you who know Marvin, you know he is a dedicated father and gives so much of his free time to helping with Operation Stars & Stripes, Inc. He eagerly supports his fellow brothers and sisters in the military by packing, shipping, and helping us haul box after box of items.
Most of all, we would love to see our son, Coe Polk, have some fun after all he has been through in the past 18-months of his life. Coe Polk is such a special little boy who lives life with such courage and joy. Since Marvin has returned home, he has been enthralled with the concept that he actually has two parents. He frequently comments with excitement -- "It's a good Mommy, AND it's a good Daddy!" We would be thrilled to give him a vacation together as a family. As much as I love sending care packages and attending graduate school, it would be a welcomed break for a few days!
If you would like to know more about what we are currently doing through Operation Stars & Stripes, Inc., you can visit the website at . We have been so blessed and continue to see so many miracles through this organization. Thank you to all of you who have been so generous to help us with this endeavor.

It Feels like Summer
So sorry I have been MIA, I am trying to slow down and relax more especially with the wonderful weather we have been having. Also my email was hacked or something so I have been trying to figure that one out to. I have a mac so virus i am hoping ans assuming not, but somehow someone sent an email from my yahoo account from me saying I was selling electronics from China. First off electronics are not my foray and second, what is going on. So if any of you smart souls out there have some advice send it my way! I tried AVAST but it wouldn't work with my system. So I am so lost at this point, i assure you all though I have had my password changed, it is so hard that it takes me awhile to remember it, let alone spell it right.
Anyways back to some fun, so I thought since I have been gone for awhile I would catch you all up on some of my latest swaps and the beauties that I have been receiving.
First up is the fabulous crown Dara, from Sophie Rose Designs made me for the Kentucky Derby Hat Swap. I told her I loved blue and would love something Marie Antoinnettish, man did she deliver. just look at all of the details, I just love it!
Next up we have Karin, from the Junque in your Trunk Swap. All I can so is oh my gosh, I love the case and just check out the picture of the inside. It is such a treasure chest delight. So much fun and she did such a lovely job with my likes and dislikes.
Last but certainly not least is my swap buddy Emily for the I love Paris in the Springtime, swap. Hmmm what your not seeing in the photo is the two boxes, yes two boxes of chocolate crackle cookies which, I have never had before and then me and OH's daughter managed to polish those babies off in oh about two days. Emily they were delicious! Otherwise check out all of the fun stuff she sent, I just adore the book and am already half way through it and then the beautiful stickers from her own personal stash, as well as that cool clutch that she made herself out of plastic bags. I am still amazed how she did that. Plus I love the new Blue moon beads she sent me called Organics, I was just in Michael's the day before the package arrived and I ended up not buying them and then regretting it. So thank you so much Emily.
Thank you to all of my fabulous swap buddies and the fabulous ladies that hosted the swaps, I have had so much fun and made so many new friends. Until next time!

Thank you to all of my fabulous swap buddies and the fabulous ladies that hosted the swaps, I have had so much fun and made so many new friends. Until next time!

MIA
As usual I have been missing in action lately. I really have no good excuse, I was sick and then I was just busy with the store and well, I could use a ton of weekends strung together or maybe some vacation time. Grated I've been using that for the sick and also for the super nice weather.
Oh's birthday was this last week so I ditched out of work at lunch and we went to the driving range and out to lunch. It was so nice, I don't know how I make it through an eight hour day everyday. Especially with summer coming, I think I am in for a rough time. I just want to go outside and play, so to compromise I did ask my bos for a sky light in my cubicle. She laughed so I am not sure if that is going in or not. I'll have to check in next week. Other than that just busy as a bee as usual, I should be getting ready for the Crafted together show, but no I have been reading a book that I have been waiting for for almost a year on the waiting list. I read it in one night. Now I have to wait for another few months for the new one to come out. Alas this is enough rambling for one night. I'll try to pull myself together and have something better to talk about for the next post. Until then! Oh and check out the shop I got some new super cute stuff in and more coming next week.

J'adore Paris!
I think I did that right, I had two years of French in High school and two years of Spanish so I love to mix them together. Plus I was never that good at foreign languages. Anyways, whoo what a day, I had a drop off for a boutique and get this I get there, an hour from my home, to discover I forgot the jewelry when I left for work this morning. I have never forgotten the jewelry before. So thanks to OH he met me so I didn't have to drive all the way home.
Other than that I am so excited the Sweet Goodness Girls are hosting a spring swap, I love Paris in the Spring Time. Love it!
In fact I was just watching the Hills on MTV last night, I am so addicted to that show, not sure why, but I just love watching it. Anyways Lauren was in Paris last night for Teen Vogue, nice huh. I never got to travel out of the country for an internship. It was so fun to watch and see the city of lights. I'm sure you guys don't know this but when i was 16 I got to travel there with school for about a month and half. The best experiance of my life, would totally reccomend it to anyone esspecially artists though. Paris just has this feeling and ambiance about it, I was so homesick for oh about a month, and I think I spent more on calls home than buying things. Of course when it was time to go I cried, I just fell in love with that city. Sacre Coure, I think I speeled that wrong, but any ways they have the cutest market near the church and it is filled with artist and this one nice older man drew my portrait and it was just amazing, I think my parents still have it some where. If you ever get the chance, I say jump on it, I want to go back and hit the flea markets and eat at the out door cafes.
Another fun fact while I was there, I was so wrried about money, it was the first time I had to handle expenses for that long and I only had 1000 dollars, so I ate baquettes and nutella for almost every meal, except in NIce I had a lasagna dinner and it was to die for. I lost 20 lbs and probably looked the best I ever have. So ladies get out your credit cards and make that flight, and could I please stow away in someone's luggage? until next time!
P.S. special thanks to Fated Follies StudioFated Follies Studio who helped me correct my french for the title, I was always so bad with the verbs.

Spring is in the Air
Well here is the pic of the lovely spring necklace and earrings I made. It currently resides at a boutique in Ham Lake at Majestic Oaks Golf Course for you Minnesotans. Which they have the best brunch out there if you ever in that area. I regress here are the pics and Renee is off to bed so I can read and try and relax. Oh and ignore the mess in the background I was getting ready for a show remember! Hoping that tomorrow will be as pleasant weather wise as it was today! Keep your fingers crossed.
Some New Pretties
Well here is the bracelet that I made with Jane in mind. Jane I promise I will email you tonight with pics!
I used the new camera at work and I lvoe it but I forgot what a pain it can be to take pics of jewelry. As you can tell with the too pics I was playing with using some different lighting the gold tone is actually the color in the first picture.
Anyways I will hopefully post some new pics of another piece tonight, alas I am at work on lunch and I must say it is so nice outside. It feels like spring today I think we might even hit 45 degrees. I know I can barely describe how wonderful it feels. I swear I am ready to run home and drag out the sandals already. Granted yes we are supposedly getting a nsow storm next Monday. I'm not sure if you all know this or not, but I love sandals, if I could I would wear them all year round, unfortunately since I live in MN I can't!
Oh well lunch is over and I should get back to work :( Alas I just want to run out in the open and feel the sun on my face all afternoon. Maybe later! Until then.

Hello Basket
Ever have one of those weekends, I had a show yesterday so I decided on Friday to sew, which I really don't know how, new table linens from some vintage curtains. I finished without finishing the edges which I am quite proud of granted there are some mistakes but they turned out real pretty thanks to some helpers at Joannes. Fast forward to Sat. no clean socks, so I stole some of Oh's and headed out the door, late, but with clean over sized socks. That is the type of weekend I have had last minute, car problems, I swear it is possessed i will be paying tomorrow to find out why the car is posses ed hopefully it will be cheap. In other happy news, see below.
Thanks to the wonderful Molly, I have received the coolest Easter Basket ever. She really did a great job, plus she was so on the ball she was already shipping hers, and I had only bought the basket. she even sent Lola her own goodies bag, which she loved the toys Molly was so sweet to send her. just check out the pics, Molly you did a wonderful job and thank you so much!
Other than that it has been crazy around here, Jane, you know who you are, I have finally made a bracelet in your color palette, I have some pics, but of course they are at work, so I will email you this week. I am so sorry it took this long to find the pieces, who would have known that gold and blue were hard to find together, or it is just that I was looking for them.
Anyways finished a show yesterday and am currently uploading some more vintage flowers to Etsy and then inventorying jewelry for a boutique drop off tonight. Then i think it is time for some laundry. Do I sound crazed a little in this post? Well i am so feeling like a maniac you wouldn't believe it! Until next time.
Okay blogger is being a pain and not loading my pics, I have been trying all day, and darn it I give up, I am off to bed, maybe tommorow I can share the beautiful basket I received.

Crazy Daisy
Well sorry I have been MIA seems to be a theme lately, I accidentally over booked myself for the next two months but the real problem happens this week. I have three events going on so of course i waited till the last minute and decided I needed to make a ton of new stuff. So I have been going full force for the last week or so. All will be fine, but I am still behind on taking photos of the fun mail I have been getting so sorry ladies I promise i will do it. I really do it just might be awhile longer still.
Other than running like a crazed women, I have been taking Lo to the vet, poor thing ended up with frost bite. So of course I feel horrible but I still can't believe it, she is never outside long. The vet was really nice and had to explain to me it wasn't my fault over and over. Apparently since she is so short she is getting wet or moist and having some problems with one nipple being frost bit. Still horribly embarrassed by my apparent lack of a parent. Plus Lo is pissed due to the Elizabethan collar she has to wear while I'm at work. But after a few days it is starting to look better and she is no longer licking it. Score for me. So it has been crazy as usual and I am falling behind. Here is too a fabulous week to all and hoping spring hurries it's but up in Minnesota!

Pretty Flowers
So since I forgot to email home my Valentine's flowers here they are now, they are super pretty. I normally always get red roses, and although I have nothing against red roses, I do prefer a more colorful lot. So this year OH surprised me completely.
Here are some closup's of my pretties, which I way dead at this point so I have them on my computer.
Other than that still trying to fight whatever it is I have and stay warm. It is so cold again. I don't think I am going to make it to spring. Also I have to share some of my swaps I have received some of the coolest stuff and I just need to take some photos. Seems to be the story of my life huh. Until then.

OWOH Winner
We have a winner, Margo from Margos Memories Musings. So Margo please send me an email and these pretties are on the way to you!
In other news, Happy Belated Valentines, I took some pics of the lovely flowers I received and then forgot to email them home. Oops, i took them at work with the super cool new camera. Oh well what to do, other than that I was off to the doctors today I haven't been feeling well I wasn't sure what was wrong and get this I have an infection in my lymph node? So hopefully after a few days on antibiotics my neck will not be swollen and my ear won't feel like it is an elephant. Totally not fun, but way better than the flu.
Anyways I am still in resting mode, so I will be back tommorrow hopefully with something exciting right now I just want to hibernate and eat a lot ice cream. What ice cream is good for a sore throat don't ya think. There are no calories in that ice cream, no sir! until then
PS Margo I couldn't find an email so I left a comment on your blog!

One World-One Heart
I just came across this tonight and I thought it was such a fabulous idea I am jumping on board. What is One World-one Heart, well started this in 2007 to help bring new and old bloggers together. A way to meet new friends and to help others as they get started. Currently there are over 350 participants. So in good nature I will be giving a way one of my staple items perfect for Valentines.
ent
The rhinestone Glamour Bobby Pins. so leave a comment and go check out all of the other Bloggers out there, see the side bar for them. I will draw a name on February 14th. Please make sure you leave some way for me to contact you!
This is what Lisa had to say about her project of bringing bloggers together, "This is more than wanting to win something.......that is only the means.......in the end it's about finding kindred spirits. Someone may be fairly new to blogging, not sure how to navigate, find others and have others find them....Some are long time bloggers and in some cases well known in the art community. Whatever the case it brings all of them together. This is an INTERNATIONAL event that has and had participants from the US, Canada, France, Sweden, Germany, Finland, Malaysia, Brazil, The Netherlands, Australia, New Zealand, Scotland, Ireland, England,Wales and more. It transcends geographical location, socio economics, political affiliation, religious beliefs......it's a coming together like the giant community we are on this planet. If only it took a simple giveaway to create PEACE everywhere, in the mean time here we give from our hearts. What more could I ask for, my little idea has surpassed my wildest dreams of what it could become. This year I created this blog especially for OWOH - it will remain up all year and beyond.
My heartfelt thanks go out to all who chose to board the Love Train.
XOXO." So thank you Lisa I think this is such a fabulous idea!

MIA
I have been missing in action lately. I have been busting my but trying to set up some new boutiques this year, uploading to Etsy, just plain busy. So I apologize for the missing part I have a ton to share with you guys. I have decided to open another Etsy shop you can check it out. It's still vintage recreations, but at another listing, Vintage Nouveau Design. I have been thinking about it for awhile now and decided to just jump on it. this site will be hosting all of my jewelry. The old site will host all of the vintage findings, flowers, cabs, & other vintage stuff. It was just getting way to unorganized and I couldn't take it anymore.
Other than that I was off to the dentist last week and sometimes I just do not know what possesses me to schedule everything in one afternoon. I always feel like a truck hit my face and then I am such a crab for the rest of the week. Oh well, less time to take off from work to go to the dentist I guess. So my mouth still hurts a little but I am way less crabbier.
Anyways here are some pics of some of the jewelry I just loaded last week.
We have these classic Black Rose Bobby Pins
Next we have a new favorite of mine, the Vintage Daisy Chain bracelet, made from a vintage bracelet and vintage cabs.
These are super fun and sure do scream spring,Gold Floral Wonder Earrings.
Plus this gorgeous Vintage Amber ring.
Last but not least we have the classic Rhinestone Glamour Bobby Pins.
Plus a slew of new Bobby Pins and other items, now remember all of these items are one of a kind or limited edition so check them out. Also I will slowly be adding new items as I can. Until Then!

The Book!
So here is the book that I was talking about in the last post, it is called, drum roll please...... Craft Inc. by Meg Mateo Ilasco. This book is fantastic I have read a ton of books on how to start a business but this one was so beautifully laid out and easy to relate to. I recommend this book to any creative crafter trying to add on to their business or just starting out. I would also like to thank Jennifer over at Naughty Secretaries Club for recommending this one.

Definately Monday
Whoo I am just exhausted tonight but much to my surprise and delight I had a ton of mail. I just love fun mail, I could go broke ordering things and then waiting for them to show up. I will share some photos of the goodies that Maria sent me and show some additions that I have been adding to the store tonight. First for the goodies,
She was so sweet to host the swap and she did such a lovely job on mine, I have been partnered with Maria before and she never disappoints, she is a talented artist.
Now on to the new goodies, be prepared to be over whelmed with pictures. Then head over to the store and snatch these babies up.
First we have some Vintage Lockets with a great Starburst design.
Next we have some Vintage Lucite. Next We have some Knick Knacks and Paddi Wacks
Some lovely Floral Cabs that of course are vintage.
Plus my all time favorite right now Vintage plastic Flowers in a new Rainbow Mix, with bigger and better flowers.
So that was a total mouthful, I am off to take the dog out and take a bath, i think I need some time to relax and read a book. Until next time.
P.S. I have been working on some new jewelry so if I can sneak it into work and take some photos with the cooll camera, I will show and tell some of it. Stay tuned I am reading this great new book regarding creative people and their business or well turning it into a business and I highly reccomend this book.

My Newest Collection
I started collecting vintage corsages this year, right before Christmas and man these buggers are hard to find. I just adore these, aren't they just the cutest. I always wonder what was it purchased for, what event, what memories just lie awaiting with this beautiful piece.
The White and yellow one is from Vintage This Retro That. The Christmas one I got from Candy Connection 22. They both did a wonderful job as sellers and look at their pics, lovely aren't they.So as you can see I am quite addicted to them and they are making me get way deep! Now I just have to figure out how to display them, I like that all of them have come in the original box, so I don't want to lose those boxes but I would like to display them some how so I can see them, but I don't have to worry about sun damage or pet damage! If you guys have any ideas I would love to hear. So far I only have 3 to my name and two of them being Christmas ones. Hmm please help!

Winners I have Winners!
Whoo it has been one crazy weekend and i am sad to say that it is over. I have been madly working on some swaps and running around the house like a mad woman trying to find my lost glue gun. Two hours later ah ha that is where I hid it before company was coming over. Found and finished one of my swaps here are some pics. My partner is Maria from the Junk Drawer, so maria look away I am mailing this out tomorrow. But first we have winners, Ms. Porter over at Porter's Ponderings is the winner of the fabulous vintage flower mix, and Genevieve over at Ella Enchanted is the winner of the kitty necklace. So I will be sending you guys some emails shortly to get some addresses. Other than that it is absolutely freezing in MN, like below zero lately. Being the brave girl I am I headed out this morning, well late this morning to an estate sale and filled a bag up for ten dollars. got to love that. They have these bag sales the last day towards the middle of the day and you can jam pack those bags full for a certain dollar amount. it varies from sale to sale. I must say though soon as they announce it the place goes mad with people grabbing and filling there bags so fast, I had one woman grab a dress off the hanger as i was looking at it and i still had one of my paws on it. People can get so crazy. Alas it is Monday tomorrow so i leave you with my swap photos.
Oh crumbs you can't see any of the pretty detail work i did on the old photo, granted I really suck at collaging, but I really liked this when I finished it. Oh well hopefully Maria will like it.
Until next time!
